A New Version?! Wordpress Help Updating a Wordpress Blog
Now, since I know how to login to my Wordpress Challenged blog, I head on over to start, well, blogging.
When I get to the dashboard page, I see a message that sends shivers down my spine –
****There is a new version of Wordpress. Please update to version 2.6.1****
First, let me backtrack and say that I didn’t upload the original version I am using. In that regard, I went with a hosting company that would auto install it for you like Host Gator.
Now, back to my immediate stress — the update! For days I just went about my business trying to ignore the glaring update message every time I went to login hoping it would magically disappear.
Alas, it did not. So, today, I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. And I’m happy to report that my updating was a success!
